HEALTHQUEST APPLICANTS are all screened for quality (skills, education, experience), integrity and work ethics. Reference checks are done before presentation to potential employers.




HIRING PROCESS

Applicants are screeened and pre-qualified resumes are submitted for review to interested employers. Qualified candidates that are selected will be scheduled for interviews either by telephone or in person.



EMPLOYER OPTIONS FOR ENGAGING OUR FOREIGN TRAINED WORKERS:

  1. Working visa sponsor (H1B).
  2. J visa exchange program.
  3. Immigrant visa sponsor.



PROCESSING TIME AND PROCEDURE:

Working Visa (H1B)

  1. Labor Condition application and filing -------------- maximum 2 weeks.
  2. H1B petition filing(I129) ---- 3-6 mos. for regular filing & 2-3 weeks for premium processing.
  3. Embassy interview ---- date determined by Embassy schedule of availability.
  4. Approval of visa ---- After passing embassy interview, passport with stamped visa is mailed by courier within 4-5 days.
  5. Clearance from country of origin --------------------- 2-5 days.
  6. Departure for the US ----------------------- Date is determined by employer.

Exchange visa program (J visa)

  1. Employer provides list of hires and copy of offer of employment to J sponsor ---- 30 days after interview and intent to hire.
  2. J visa sponsor process the DS2019 ----------------- maximum of a week.
  3. DS2019 is mailed to applicant -------------------- 3 days.
  4. Schedule for embassy interview ------------------ determined by Embassy.
  5. Approval of visa ---- After passing embassy interview, passport is mailed by courier within 4-5 days.
  6. Clearance from foreign country ----------------- 2-5 days.
  7. Departure for the US ------------------------ Date determined by employer.

Immigrant visa program

  1. The process ranges from 2-5 years.



RESPONSIBILITY OF EMPLOYER:

  1. Personal or phone interviews.
  2. Extend written offer of employment.
  3. Sign off on working visa sponsorship, prepared by HQ. If J visa, provide J sponsor with copies of offer of employment. For immigrant visa, sign off on documents prepared by HQ.

  4. To provide the job as offered to candidate upon arrival.
  5. To pay the required wage.
  6. To be an equal opportunity employer.



RESPONSIBILITY OF HEALTHQUEST:

  • Set up Job fair and interview venues.
  • Pre screen candidates presented.
  • Evaluate credentials of applicants.
  • Secure necessary licensure/permits for applicant to work in the US.
  • Upon employers offer of employment, HQ prepares all necessary documents for working visa or exchange visa program.

  • Upon approval of necessary visas, HQ arranges for applicants arrival for the US at a date determined by employer.

  • HQ meets all applicants at the airport,arranges, temporary housing.
  • HQ representative will be assisting applicants in their first week,to apply for SSN, open bank accounts, orientation to area, look for permanent housing.

  • Be available for employers and employees to answer any questions regarding visa questions and extensions.
